Dear Mariner’s Cove Residents,
We would like to update the community on the current dry conditions in Mariner’s Cove; A combination of the delay in the start of South Florida’s rainy season, and mechanical issues with the communities irrigation system has led to many areas of dormant grass.
In response to this, Board members, landscape experts from the community, management and a large representation from our landscape company met yesterday to immediately address the situation. We looked at both short term and long term solutions.
The short term solutions, implemented immediately, involve an adjustment to the systems’ pump (increasing water pressure) and an extension of watering times. With a 40% chance of rain early next week, we expect to see a marked difference in the presentation of the community within a week.
However, there still remain some areas with electrical issues, pipes in need of repair, and sprinkler heads that are in need of replacement. These are issues that will take a bit longer to rectify, primarily due to the volume of work required. The association has communicated to our landscaping company that these repairs should continue until the entire community has complete irrigation coverage.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding with this matter. The association is confident that our residents will once again see the beautiful landscaping presentation in the community that you are used to seeing daily.
