Someone stole the Garmin Display right out of our boat! The Garmin had a cover and the entire console was covered. If anyone saw anything suspicious near our boat please let us know.

We spoke to a neighbor to the north on our shared canal whose GPS was stolen off his boat the other night. He asked if our clubhouse cameras or any residents’ cameras might have picked up any useful shots, as his boat is directly north of our lift. Please let me know if you have any information or footage to share with this neighbor. We will be installing a spotlight cam facing the marina from our back patio.
The fresh water marina dock lighting is now insufficient and quite frankly dangerous. The dock lighting that we had before the dock renovations were bright and provided sufficient light to the docks and most of the surrounding yard areas. Now it is entirely too dark, making the yard area entirely unusable after dark and a dangerous walk to the dock if you need to check on anything. I actually almost fell after stepping in a depressed area of the yard one evening because it was entirely black out and you can not judge the ground at all when walking to the marina dock after dark. The boat and surrounding dock areas are not well lit either. Can someone please let us know how soon lack of marina lighting will be addressed?

My dog had another bout of diarrhea this morning and while cleaning it up outside, I ran into 3 different neighbors who said their dogs were experiencing the same thing. These 3 dogs do not play together so it is not something that could have been passed between them. Can you please check with the landscape company to see what chemicals they are using on the grounds? I just want to be sure they are not using something that may irritate or be harmful to our dogs. Thank you.
I see that the posts that held our previous lighting fixtures are now gone. What are the plans for new lighting?
To All Marines Cove Residents,
There is an area by one of the dumpsters (see attached photo) that currently has some rusted bikes and some other debris that we believe have been abandoned. We are notifying everyone that if these items are still in this area as of next Monday, March 1st, we will be disposing of them.
Please claim these items if they are yours before they are removed.

To All Mariners Cove Residents:
We wanted you all to be aware that last Thursday evening, July 23rd, numerous cars in the neighborhood were robbed and vandalized. Unfortunately, most of the cars were left unlocked and there were items left in cars, that the thieves were able to take.
We strongly suggest that you lock your vehicles when not in use and do not leave any valuables in view of the windows. Also, any bags or packages, even empty ones, in view suggest the possibility of something valuable. Leaving items in the glove compartment or in the trunk also does not guarantee that they will be safe. It is best to remove any items that you do not want stolen.
Additionally, it was brought to our attention that on Tuesday, July 21st, at approximately 3:30 pm, a man rang the doorbell at a home in the community and when the resident opened the door, he stated he was from CMR Roofing and was soliciting homes for free roof inspections. The car he was driving was a passenger car with no company markings. The resident felt the man was suspicious and so he called the company to ask about the solicitor. The employee, Heather, said she was not aware of any such inspections and said that someone would return the call, but that call never came. Attached is a photo of the car. It could be nothing, but this resident wanted everyone to be aware.
These incidents again underline the need for an updated security system for Mariner’s Cove, as the current one is hopelessly obsolete and unreliable. Your Board of Directors and management team are actively working to obtain information and quotes for an updated system.

The county has recently established new guidelines as it relates to the use of community pools. We are no longer required to have monitors present at the pool for all hours the pool is open. However, associations are required to do periodic spot checks to ensure CDC guidelines relating to cleanliness and social distancing are adhered to.
Residents need to clean off any chair or chaise lounge after use with the cleaning supplies that are provided.
Therefore, we have updated regulations for the use of the amenities within our community as follows. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in the loss of use or closure of amenities. These change are effective immediately.
All individuals using the pool and pool area do so at their own risk. While the measures that have been put in place are meant to help keep you safe, we cannot guarantee that you are out of harm’s way.
